🧳 LOST & FORGOTTEN ITEMS POLICY

(Global Legal Version – Oro Technologies LLC Platform)

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

If you believe you have left, misplaced, or forgotten a personal item in a vehicle during a trip arranged through the Oro platform (the “Platform”), you must take immediate action to maximize the possibility of recovery.

The Platform is owned and operated by Oro Technologies LLC, a technology company that provides digital intermediation services connecting independent users with independent third-party transportation providers.

Oro Technologies LLC operates solely as a neutral technological intermediary and does not participate in, control, supervise, or guarantee any physical transportation service, driver behavior, or post-trip interactions.

Oro does not provide transportation services and does not own, control, operate, inspect, or manage any vehicles.

All drivers available through the Platform are independent third-party service providers, and are not employees, agents, representatives, or partners of Oro under any circumstance.

Accordingly, all personal belongings remain at the sole risk of the user at all times, including during and after the completion of any trip.

2. HOW TO REPORT A LOST ITEM

📱 Through the Oro App (Primary and Recommended Method)
Users must use the Platform application as the primary communication channel:

Open the Oro app
Navigate to “My Trips”
Select the relevant trip
Review trip details (driver identity, vehicle information, timestamp)
Use the in-app communication feature to contact the driver

This is the fastest, most direct, and most effective method of recovery.

🌐 Through the Website (Secondary Method)
If access to the mobile application is unavailable:

Contact Oro Customer Support via the official support channels
Provide complete and accurate trip-related information

📧 Official Contact: orocustomerservice@ (see Help Center)

⚠️ Important Limitation:
Direct driver-user communication may not be available through the website. Oro may act solely as a passive intermediary for the transmission of recovery requests and does not guarantee delivery, response, or engagement from any third party.

3. REQUIRED INFORMATION

To process any lost item request, users must provide complete and accurate information, including but not limited to:

Full legal name associated with the Oro account
Driver’s name (if available)
Vehicle identification (including license plate, if available)
Date and time of the trip
Pickup and drop-off locations
Detailed and specific description of the item

Oro reserves the right to reject or disregard incomplete, inconsistent, or potentially fraudulent claims.

Failure to provide sufficient or accurate information may delay or prevent any recovery effort.

4. RECOVERY PROCESS

Upon receiving a valid request:

Oro will attempt to forward the request to the corresponding driver using available communication channels.

The driver may, at their sole discretion, inspect their vehicle and determine whether any item has been located.

The driver may respond directly to the user if the item is found.

Oro does not control, supervise, enforce, or compel any action by drivers, nor does it guarantee cooperation, response, or availability.

Oro acts solely as a passive technological intermediary for message transmission and does not guarantee delivery, receipt, reading, or response of any communication between Users and third-party drivers.

5. NO GUARANTEE OF RECOVERY

Users expressly acknowledge and agree that:

Oro does not guarantee the location, recovery, or return of any item
Oro has no custody, possession, or control over any personal property at any time
Recovery is entirely dependent on third-party cooperation and external factors including timing, honesty, and availability

Once a trip is completed, Oro has no operational, physical, or legal control over any personal belongings left in any vehicle.

Oro Technologies LLC does not at any time take possession, custody, control, or responsibility for any personal property, whether during or after the completion of a trip. Any personal item left in a vehicle remains exclusively under the custody of the independent third-party driver, without any legal transfer of responsibility to Oro.

6. RETURN FEES AND LOGISTICS

If a driver voluntarily agrees to return an item:

A return fee may apply at the driver’s sole discretion
Payment terms (cash, digital, or otherwise) are arranged exclusively between user and driver
Fees may vary based on distance, time, inconvenience, or logistical effort

Oro does not set, regulate, recommend, collect, mediate, or process any such payments.

6.1 NO STORAGE, WAREHOUSING OR PROPERTY HANDLING OBLIGATION

ORO Technologies LLC does not provide storage, warehousing, safekeeping, transportation, handling, inventory, packaging, shipping, custody, or property management services of any kind.

At no time shall ORO or any affiliated entity be deemed to have taken possession, custody, constructive possession, control, or legal responsibility over any lost, forgotten, abandoned, misplaced, transferred, or recovered property.

Any temporary possession, handling, transportation, storage, or delivery of personal property is conducted exclusively by independent third-party individuals acting under their own responsibility and outside the operational control of ORO.

Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted as creating:

a bailment relationship;

a storage agreement;

a fiduciary obligation;

a duty of safekeeping;

or any enhanced duty of care regarding personal property.

Users expressly acknowledge that all personal belongings remain at their sole risk at all times.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Oro shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, delay, misplacement, or non-recovery of personal items

Oro assumes no responsibility for the actions, omissions, negligence, or misconduct of drivers or third parties

This limitation applies regardless of legal theory, including but not limited to:

Contract
Tort (including negligence)
Strict liability

Nothing within the Platform, this Policy, or any related communication shall be interpreted as creating any insurance undertaking, reimbursement obligation, indemnity commitment, or compensation guarantee by ORO.

                                     📦 LOST & FOUND PROPERTY POLICY

ORO Technologies LLC and its global affiliates function strictly as a technology platform and intermediary ecosystem. The company primarily provides tracking assistance for forgotten items through written digital communication channels, including in-app reporting systems, web-based forms, and platform-integrated tools.
To maintain operational efficiency, documentation accuracy, user safety, and fraud prevention, ORO processes all property loss reports through these designated digital channels at its sole discretion.
Users explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

  • The platform functions solely as a technology provider; all physical services, vehicles, and operations are performed exclusively by independent third-party providers. Consequently, ORO does not possess, control, store, or guard any forgotten items, nor does it guarantee their recovery or preservation;

  • The independent third-party provider is solely responsible for checking their vehicle and, if found, coordinating the return of the item. ORO is not liable for any loss, damage, theft, or destruction of personal property arising from services performed by third-party providers;

  • Any agreement, cost, or logistics required to return a found item (such as delivery fees or meeting locations) is strictly a private matter between the user and the independent third-party provider;

  • Written documentation channels are strictly required to verify identity, validate trip details, prevent fraudulent ownership claims, and maintain compliance recordkeeping;

  • Abusive, misleading, or fraudulent property claims will result in immediate temporary or permanent restriction of support access and/or Platform enforcement actions.

ORO reserves the right to determine the appropriate tracking priority, escalation process, and administrative support availability for each reported case.
Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted as creating any guaranteed right to property recovery, immediate human intervention, financial compensation, or unrestricted liability for personal effects.
All property tracking systems are provided on a commercially reasonable and operationally available basis only.
