ACCESSIBILITY EXPECTATIONS AND NO GUARANTEED OUTCOMES POLICY
ORO TECHNOLOGIES LLC – GLOBAL ACCESSIBILITY STANDARD
Accessibility is one of the core principles considered in the design and continuous development of the ORO Platform. ORO Technologies LLC seeks to provide technology that helps facilitate a more intuitive, inclusive, and user-friendly experience for a broad range of users, including older adults, individuals with disabilities, users with limited digital experience, and any person who may benefit from simplified interaction through voice-enabled technology and accessibility-oriented features.
The ORO Platform has been designed with the objective of reducing unnecessary complexity commonly associated with digital mobility applications. Voice interaction, accessibility features, simplified workflows, and communication tools are intended to assist users in accessing Platform functionalities with greater convenience while helping reduce dependence on continuous manual interaction with a mobile device.
These technological features are intended to improve usability and accessibility. They are not intended to replace individual judgment, personal responsibility, medical assistance, caregiver support, rehabilitation services, assistive professionals, emergency services, transportation assistance programs, or any governmental or private accessibility service.
Although ORO continuously invests in accessibility technologies, voice interaction, interface improvements, and inclusive design practices, ORO Technologies LLC does not represent or warrant that the Platform will satisfy the accessibility needs, expectations, preferences, capabilities, or personal circumstances of every individual user.
Accessibility needs vary significantly among individuals and may be influenced by numerous factors beyond the reasonable control of ORO Technologies LLC, including physical, sensory, cognitive, neurological, environmental, linguistic, technological, cultural, regulatory, and personal circumstances.
Accordingly, users acknowledge that accessibility features may operate differently depending on the specific device, operating system, internet connectivity, GPS availability, microphone quality, speaker functionality, language configuration, software compatibility, third-party services, environmental noise, local infrastructure, hardware limitations, system permissions, or other external conditions.
Voice-recognition technologies are designed to facilitate interaction with the Platform. However, voice recognition is inherently dependent upon multiple external variables and may not correctly recognize every word, accent, pronunciation, language variation, speech pattern, background sound, medical condition, environmental condition, or communication style.
Similarly, accessibility-related notifications, estimated arrival information, route guidance, geolocation tools, voice prompts, Quick Message functionality, estimated travel times, and other Platform features are provided to assist communication between users and independent Providers. They should not be interpreted as guarantees of successful communication, exact timing, uninterrupted functionality, precise positioning, continuous availability, or specific operational outcomes.
The Quick Message feature has been developed to help facilitate direct communication between the user and the independent Provider assigned to a service request. Its purpose is to support coordination regarding the designated pickup location, improve communication efficiency, and help reduce misunderstandings during the meeting process.
Likewise, voice-assisted communication tools available to independent Providers are intended to help reduce unnecessary interaction with mobile devices while facilitating safer operational use of the Platform. These tools are designed to support communication efficiency and should not be interpreted as guarantees of accident prevention, operational safety, legal compliance, or uninterrupted functionality.
The ORO Platform may also provide estimated arrival times, approximate distances, route information, navigation assistance, trip-related notifications, and other operational information intended to support user awareness during the service experience. Such information is generated through technological systems that rely upon third-party infrastructure and dynamic operational data and therefore may change without prior notice.
Users remain solely responsible for independently evaluating their surroundings, confirming pickup locations, exercising reasonable judgment, complying with applicable laws, and determining whether the Platform is appropriate for their own individual circumstances.
Nothing within the Platform shall be interpreted as creating a guarantee that accessibility technologies will eliminate communication barriers, prevent misunderstandings, avoid operational delays, reduce every safety risk, replace human judgment, or ensure the successful completion of any trip or service request.
ORO Technologies LLC continuously seeks to improve the accessibility of its Platform through technological innovation, software development, user feedback, regulatory compliance efforts, and ongoing product enhancements. Nevertheless, technology is inherently subject to operational limitations, evolving standards, and external dependencies that cannot be fully controlled or eliminated.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ORO Technologies LLC disclaims any representation, warranty, or guarantee, whether express or implied, regarding the completeness, uninterrupted availability, universal compatibility, accessibility performance, suitability for any particular disability, accuracy, reliability, or effectiveness of any accessibility feature, voice-assisted functionality, communication tool, or related technology available through the Platform.
Users acknowledge and agree that the Platform is provided as a technology service intended to facilitate access to independent mobility services and that accessibility features constitute supplemental technological tools designed to improve the overall user experience. No accessibility feature, voice functionality, communication tool, notification, or technological assistance provided by the Platform creates any guarantee of a specific outcome, successful communication, uninterrupted operation, personal safety, independence, transportation availability, or accessibility result.
Nothing contained in this Policy shall be interpreted as creating a legal obligation for ORO Technologies LLC to provide individualized accommodations beyond those required under applicable law, to guarantee universal accessibility, or to ensure that every feature will be compatible with every disability, device, jurisdiction, language, operating environment, or individual user circumstance.
This Policy shall be interpreted together with the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Accessibility Technology Limitations Policy, Safety & Emergency Framework, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, and all other legal documents governing the use of the ORO Platform.
