GLOBAL ACCESSIBILITY AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY
This User Device, Hardware, Software and Operating System Responsibility Policy ("Policy") forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Accessibility Technology Limitations Policy, Voice Command Authorization Policy, Safety & Emergency Framework, Acceptable Use Policy, and all other legal documents governing the use of the ORO technology platform (the "Platform"), owned and operated by ORO Technologies LLC, together with its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensors, authorized operators and related entities worldwide.
This Policy establishes the respective responsibilities of Users regarding the mobile devices, hardware components, operating systems, software configurations, accessibility settings, connectivity services, permissions and technological resources required for the proper operation of the Platform and its accessibility features.
ORO Technologies LLC develops and continuously improves accessibility-oriented technologies with the objective of making digital mobility services easier to access for the broadest possible range of users, including older adults, individuals with disabilities, users with limited technological experience, and any person seeking a safer, simpler and more intuitive method of interacting with mobility technology.
The Platform has been designed with a strong emphasis on voice interaction in order to reduce unnecessary screen interaction whenever appropriate, simplify navigation, facilitate accessibility, improve usability, and help minimize situations in which users may unnecessarily manipulate their mobile devices while preparing, coordinating or completing a trip.
These accessibility-oriented technologies are intended solely to improve the user experience. They do not eliminate the need for users to exercise reasonable care, maintain awareness of their surroundings, comply with applicable laws, or operate their devices responsibly.
The User acknowledges and agrees that the proper functioning of the Platform depends upon multiple technological components that remain outside the ownership, management and operational control of ORO Technologies LLC.
User Responsibility for Device Integrity
The User is solely responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, configuration and operational condition of the device used to access the Platform. This includes maintaining sufficient battery power, storage capacity, network connectivity, operating system compatibility, security updates, accessibility settings, required permissions, and all hardware components necessary for proper Platform functionality.
The User further acknowledges that any modification, misconfiguration, unauthorized software installation, security compromise, malware infection, rooted device, jailbroken operating system, emulator environment or unsupported firmware may adversely affect Platform performance, accessibility functions, voice interaction features and security protections.
Accordingly, each User is solely responsible for maintaining a compatible mobile device, ensuring that the operating system remains reasonably updated, preserving sufficient hardware functionality, and maintaining all software configurations necessary for the Platform to operate correctly.
Users are responsible for maintaining adequate battery levels, The User also assumes responsibility for ensuring that the device is not being operated simultaneously by unauthorized third-party applications, malicious software, automated scripts or unauthorized accessibility tools capable of interfering with the Platform's intended operation. sufficient device storage, stable internet connectivity, active GPS functionality, microphone access, speaker functionality, notification permissions, location permissions, accessibility permissions, voice recognition permissions, camera permissions when applicable, and any additional authorizations required by the operating system or the Platform.
The User further acknowledges that disabling, restricting, revoking or limiting any required permission may affect the availability, accuracy or performance of certain Platform features, including but not limited to voice commands, accessibility tools, trip coordination, location services, emergency functionalities, account security mechanisms and communication systems.
ORO Technologies LLC does not manufacture, distribute, certify or control mobile devices, smartphones, tablets, operating systems, processors, microphones, speakers, GPS chips, cameras, batteries, network equipment or any other hardware used to access the Platform.
Similarly, ORO Technologies LLC does not control Android, iOS, device manufacturers, mobile carriers, cloud infrastructure providers, speech recognition providers, mapping services, wireless communication systems, satellite positioning services or other third-party technologies upon which certain Platform functionalities may depend.
The availability, quality and performance of accessibility features may therefore vary depending on numerous factors, including device manufacturer specifications, operating system versions, language settings, regional software configurations, processor capabilities, memory availability, hardware limitations, accessibility configurations, network quality and third-party technological services.
ORO Technologies LLC makes no representation or warranty that every accessibility feature, voice functionality or Platform capability will operate identically across all devices, operating systems, manufacturers, software versions or jurisdictions.
Certain voice features may require operating system updates, manufacturer-specific services, cloud processing capabilities or regional technologies that are not available in every country or on every device.
The User acknowledges that speech recognition technologies may be affected by environmental noise, internet connectivity, microphone quality, language selection, pronunciation, regional accents, operating system processing, hardware limitations and numerous external conditions beyond the reasonable control of ORO Technologies LLC.
Voice commands are designed to facilitate interaction with the Platform but should not be interpreted as guaranteeing perfect speech recognition, uninterrupted operation or complete command execution under every circumstance.
Likewise, estimated arrival times, spoken navigation guidance, voice notifications, accessibility prompts, trip coordination messages and other automated communications are generated using technological systems that depend upon multiple external variables and should not be interpreted as guarantees of actual travel times, exact locations or operational outcomes.
The Platform may provide voice notifications intended to help users identify their assigned Provider, estimated vehicle arrival time, approximate distance to the pickup location, route updates and other operational information intended to facilitate safer trip coordination.
These informational features are designed solely to improve convenience and accessibility and do not replace the User's responsibility to verify surrounding conditions, confirm vehicle identity, exercise reasonable judgment and follow applicable safety recommendations.
The User remains solely responsible for ensuring that the selected pickup location is appropriate, lawful, reasonably accessible and safe under the existing circumstances.
Likewise, independent Providers remain solely responsible for determining whether pickup locations can be reached safely and lawfully under applicable traffic regulations and operational conditions.
Nothing contained within the Platform should be interpreted as directing the Provider to violate traffic laws, ignore public safety considerations or perform unsafe maneuvers.
The Platform may facilitate direct communication between Users and independent Providers through voice technologies, messaging systems or other communication tools designed to assist in coordinating pickup locations and improving operational efficiency.
Such communication tools are provided exclusively as technological features intended to facilitate interaction and do not create any supervisory relationship between ORO Technologies LLC and independent Providers.
Users remain responsible for using these communication features appropriately, respectfully and in compliance with all applicable laws and Platform policies.
ORO Technologies LLC reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, replace or discontinue any accessibility functionality, voice feature, technological integration or compatibility requirement whenever reasonably necessary to improve performance, strengthen security, comply with legal obligations, respond to technological developments or maintain Platform integrity.
Nothing contained in this Policy shall be interpreted as creating any guarantee regarding the continued availability of any particular hardware compatibility, software integration, accessibility functionality or operating system support.
Certain legacy devices, unsupported operating systems or obsolete software versions may no longer be compatible with future versions of the Platform.
Users are solely responsible for maintaining devices that satisfy the minimum technical requirements communicated through official Platform channels.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, the Platform and all accessibility-related technologies are provided on an "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," and "WITH ALL FAULTS" basis.
ORO Technologies LLC expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, regarding device compatibility, uninterrupted accessibility functionality, continuous voice recognition performance, software interoperability, operating system compatibility, hardware reliability or technological availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ORO Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any interruption, malfunction, incompatibility, communication failure, accessibility limitation, speech recognition error, operating system conflict, hardware defect, software malfunction, connectivity interruption, cloud service disruption, GPS inaccuracy, notification failure, permission restriction, battery failure, device malfunction or any other technological circumstance arising from components or services outside the reasonable control of ORO Technologies LLC.
Nothing contained in this Policy creates any contractual warranty, guarantee of technological performance, certification of accessibility outcomes or obligation to maintain compatibility with every existing or future mobile device, operating system or third-party technology.
This Policy shall be interpreted together with all other legal documents governing the Platform. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms and Conditions and other governing legal documents of ORO Technologies LLC shall prevail to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
1. AI AND VOICE PROCESSING DISCLAIMER
Voice recognition, natural language processing, artificial intelligence models, speech synthesis, and other automated technologies are intended solely to facilitate interaction with the Platform. They do not replace human judgment and may occasionally misunderstand, delay, omit, incorrectly interpret, partially process or fail to execute spoken commands due to factors outside the reasonable control of ORO Technologies LLC.
2. NO DRIVING DISTRACTION CLAUSE
The Platform is designed to reduce unnecessary interaction with mobile devices whenever possible. However, ORO Technologies LLC does not encourage or authorize users or Providers to interact with the Platform in any manner that would violate applicable traffic laws or compromise road safety. Users and independent Providers remain solely responsible for operating vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Nothing within the Platform shall be interpreted as encouraging continuous interaction with a mobile device while operating a vehicle. Independent Providers remain solely responsible for determining when and how Platform interaction may safely occur under applicable traffic laws.
3. FUTURE TECHNOLOGY DISCLAIMER
ORO Technologies LLC may introduce new accessibility technologies, artificial intelligence capabilities, voice interfaces, wearable integrations, connected vehicle technologies, or other innovations without creating any obligation to maintain previous functionalities indefinitely.
4. NO ACCESSIBILITY CERTIFICATION
Nothing contained within this Policy shall be interpreted as representing that the Platform satisfies every individual accessibility need or constitutes a certified assistive technology under any applicable disability regulation unless expressly stated by ORO Technologies LLC.

6. USER TRAINING DISCLAIMER

7. CYBERSECURITY CLAUSE
Users remain solely responsible for protecting their devices against unauthorized access by maintaining appropriate security measures, including strong passwords, PIN codes, biometric authentication where available, operating system updates, security patches and antivirus protections when applicable.
ORO Technologies LLC shall not be responsible for losses resulting from compromised devices, stolen credentials, unauthorized account access, malware, phishing attacks, spyware, ransomware or any other cybersecurity incident occurring outside the Platform's direct technological infrastructure.
8. DEVICE MODIFICATION DISCLAIMER
ORO Technologies LLC does not guarantee compatibility with rooted devices, jailbroken devices, modified operating systems, unauthorized firmware, emulators, beta operating systems or unsupported software environments.
9. INTERNET, GPS AND NETWORK DEPENDENCY
The Platform depends upon internet connectivity, GPS availability, mobile network coverage, cloud infrastructure, operating system services and third-party communication technologies.
If any of these components become unavailable, interrupted or degraded, certain Platform functionalities may become partially available, delayed or entirely unavailable without creating any liability for ORO Technologies LLC.
10. MULTI-LANGUAGE VOICE RECOGNITION DISCLAIMER
Voice recognition accuracy may vary depending on language availability, regional dialects, accents, pronunciation, speech characteristics, background noise, microphone quality and third-party speech recognition technologies.
Accordingly, ORO Technologies LLC does not guarantee identical voice recognition performance across every supported language, region or jurisdiction.
11. CONTINUOUS ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENT
Accessibility technologies evolve continuously. ORO Technologies LLC may improve, modify, replace or discontinue accessibility features as technology advances, legal requirements evolve or operational needs change.
Nothing contained in this Policy shall be interpreted as guaranteeing permanent availability of any specific accessibility functionality.
12. TECHNOLOGICAL FORCE MAJEURE
ORO Technologies LLC shall not be liable for failures, interruptions or service degradation resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to widespread internet outages, cloud infrastructure failures, satellite interruptions, DNS failures, power outages, cybersecurity incidents, software supply chain failures, operating system failures, governmental restrictions or failures affecting third-party technology providers.
13. EXPORT CONTROL AND LEGAL RESTRICTIONS
Certain Platform features, accessibility tools or technological services may be unavailable, restricted or modified in certain jurisdictions due to applicable export control laws, international sanctions, governmental restrictions or other legal requirements.
Nothing contained in this Policy shall obligate ORO Technologies LLC to make every Platform functionality available in every jurisdiction.
14. PLATFORM TECHNOLOGY ECOSYSTEM
The Platform operates within a highly integrated technological ecosystem composed of numerous independent components, including mobile devices, operating systems, cloud infrastructure providers, mapping services, telecommunications networks, satellite positioning systems, artificial intelligence technologies, speech recognition engines, payment processors, notification services and accessibility technologies.
Many of these services are owned, operated and maintained by independent third parties over which ORO Technologies LLC exercises no operational control.
Accordingly, interruptions, incompatibilities or failures affecting any external technological component may impact Platform performance without creating liability for ORO Technologies LLC.
15. NO PROFESSIONAL TECHNOLOGY RELIANCE
The User acknowledges that the Platform, including its accessibility technologies, voice interaction features, automated communications and digital assistance tools, is intended solely to facilitate access to mobility-related services and improve user experience.
These technologies are not intended to replace personal judgment, situational awareness, professional advice, emergency decision-making, medical assistance, legal guidance, transportation supervision or any other activity requiring independent human evaluation.
Users remain solely responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when using the Platform under all circumstances.
